YEAH! Realise Fund


The YEAH! Realise Fund was introduced to realise the potential and aspirations of our YEAH! members for themselves and towards the community – in support of the YEAH! objectives to develop passionate, all-rounded and committed youth leaders in the community.

The objectives of the fund are to:

a) create “win-win” partnerships among the South West CDC, YEAH! schools and other community partners towards youth involvement in the betterment of the South West community;

b) encourage YEAH! members and partners to plan and undertake meaningful community programmes that are geared towards an all-rounded development of the youths; and

c) provide YEAH! schools with additional resources and flexibility to explore developmental and enhancement programmes for the youths.

All YEAH! schools are to apply for the funding, for the YEAH! members.  Each YEAH! School has an allocation of $6,000 per year (i.e. January to December 2008) in which can be used on the following:

 

Purpose	Description
Personal Development (PD) Programme*	50% or up to $400 per student per programme
Community Involvement Projects	Up to $1,000 per project
